Dr. Kate Kwan
Dr Kate Kwan has over 25 years of banking experience. She has worked at SG Asia, HSBC, Citigroup, JP Morgan and Banco Santander. She has extensive experience over primary loan syndications, debt syndicate and sales, fixed income capital markets, loan distributions and secondary loans sales & trading. She has been the Chairperson of the Secondary Loans Trading Committee of Asia Pacific Loan Market Association in 2013-2016. She has a Doctorate degree from The University of Newcastle, Australia, and is a Certified ESG Planner, CPA(US), CGMA and Financial Risk Manager.
Monica Chang
Monica joins PrivEx with 24-years of experience in the banking industry in Taiwan and Hong Kong. She previously held leadership positions in Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, ANZ Bank, Citi, CTBC and HSBC to name a few. She is currently pursuing her EMBA in National Taiwan University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Clarence T’ao
Clarence is a veteran banker with rich product knowledge in corporate lending, structured debt, capital markets, loan syndications, portfolio management, and private banking. He has held various senior positions in Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank, and BNP Paribas. In August 2018, Clarence co-founded GoImpact Capital Partners (a Singapore-based ESG learning platform) and is the Founder of Immortelle Health (Hong Kong-based online health supplement business)

Avinder Singh Bindra
Avinder Bindra had a thirty year banking career in Hong Kong and Singapore, with Citibank and HSBC in various senior positions.
His broad based Investment Banking experience covered origination, derivatives, corporate finance, loan syndication and debt capital markets.
He left Citi as the Head of Global Loans – Asia Pacific. His last assignment at HSBC was running the Financing and Risk Advisory Group which provided strategic advice to major clients in the Asia Pacific region. Since leaving banking in 2005, Avi ran a Delhi based software company until 2020.
Dr. Patrick Tam
Patrick is an experienced technology professional in the financial industry who has worked with corporations such as Barclays Capital and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). Since his retirement in May 2016, he has been retained by SCB as Senior Strategic Adviser to the Group CIO on Technology.
Julian van Kan
Julian has spent much of his 40 years in investment banking in the loan syndications market. He was behind the development and growth of the business first at BNP and then ran the global Loan Syndications & Trading activity for BNP Paribas which also included risk insurance. He was one of the original founding members of the Loan Market Association (LMA). In 2011 he moved across to the coverage of Financial Institutions, first in EMEA and then APAC for BNP Paribas, and more recently held a similar role with MUFG. He has held Chair and non-executive roles in financial service related entities and remains engaged in similar roles in the health and education sectors and is an active angel investor in both FINTECH and other industrial entities.
